Spraylat Announces The Opening of a New Production Facility in Jiading, China

Located about 35 miles north of Shanghai, this new plant has a total of 90,000 square feet of space. As shown in this artist rendition (click for plant view), the site is comprised of four separate buildings. One building is for the production of Spraylat's conductive coatings, polymer thick film inks and liquid coating products. This will include mirror backing paints and silvering solutions as well as liquid automotive wheel coatings. A second building will be used for production of powder coatings and other specialty products. The building in the forefront will incorporate both laboratory and administrative offices and the fourth building is planned as raw material and finished goods warehouse.

Heading Spraylat's Asian Operations is John Million, Chairman, who has over 30 years of experience in the coatings industry and has successfully managed a series of other plant start-ups in Asia over the last 10 years. Jason Sims has been hired as Spraylat's new Technical Director for Asia. Jason will be also based at the new Jiading facility and brings with him over 12 years of coatings research expertise.
