Spraylat's leading-edge, Series 599 SOS conductive paint product line, offers superior properties and lower application cost as compared to either vacuum metallization or selective plating. Our SOS products include B3755 silver-coated copper, B3740 hybrid and B3730 silver paints.  Spraylat's SOS (safe-on-substrate) product line utilizes alcohol as the primary solvent. This mild solvent minimizes substrate attack on plastics like polycarbonate and polycarbonate blends.

SOS coatings deliver major advancements in both application cost reduction and in coating performance. This has been achieved through a significant improvement in electrical conductivity but at much lower overall applied coating thicknesses. As a result, less coating is required to provide effective EMC performance. 
 

Furthermore, more complex moldings or more highly featured enclosures can readily achieve excellent electrical conductivity and shielding effectiveness even, in a high volume production environment.

Spraylat also offers a state-of-the-art line of new water-based conductive paint products, known as Neptune. Neptune silver and hybrid paints offer similar performance to Spraylat's SOS products in a water-based formulation.

More recent advancements to the SOS product line include MEGA thinner. MEGA thinner allows the extension of SOS product dilution ratios to facilitate easier achievement of very low film thicknesses. This added feature facilitates cost reduction while increasing throughput in production.
