Automotive Interior Plastics
Spraylat’s automotive group recently introduced new leading edge, decorative coatings for interior automotive plastics. This family of products is known as NZ “Near Zero” VOC coatings. These unique water-based, urethane coatings are one-component formulations designed to provide excellent adhesion to a wide range of flexible and rigid automotive plastics without the need for a primer. Among the resins which can be directly coated with Spraylat’s NZ “Near Zero” technology are the following:

These coatings are compliant, with VOC levels below 0.6 lbs./gal. In production, they offer excellent cost effectiveness. Finish options include soft-to-the-touch, metallic, and a full range of decorative colors
